The US Virgin Islands are a beautiful tropical paradise and only a 3 hour flight from NYC! This makes it an ideal location for a quick weekend getaway or a long week of exploring. My family and I opted to forgo Christmas gifts this year and instead go on an 8 day trip to St. John, USVI. The National Park was our biggest draw and it was one of the most unique US National Parks I’ve been to. Below is an outline of what we did while in St. John and what I recommend for anyone looking to travel there!

A Week in Tulum

I finally made it out to Mexico recently in mid-August with my high school best friends. It was such a great trip but as they say, every rose has its thorn. We had A LOT of mishaps on this vacation, I cannot stress enough how many issues we ran into flying in and out of Mexico. However, everything we did in between was so beautiful and fun, so I’ll focus on that.

Scuba Diving the Great Barrier Reef

The reef is so full of color and life, the photos will never do it justice. Being down eye level with the largest living organism on earth is so surreal, you just need to see it for yourself.
